Cancelling preorder

Not sure if this is the right forum, though I specifically want to cancel my Battlefield 2042 preorder.

I want to cancel my preorder, but apparently the payment method I used doesn't 'support' a payback... So I tried to contact EA and see if their helpdesk can help me. However, the help website just keeps loading indefinitely (I tried different browsers etc.)

Does anyone have some experience with this and was there an alternative way for you to cancel the preorder?

Update: I managed to get through the chat and talked to someone that seems to be using machine learning to speak my native language. Errr, besides the translation errors I am getting the help I need.

At this point, EA/dice needs to open the beta to all on the same day. May restore a little confidence to all who are and may cancel preorders. Only reason I preordered was access to the early beta slot. If not I would of waited on pre-order until after we played the beta.

@ghinavirus Not going to happen since they have already marketed and sold early access to the Beta.

Glad you were able to get your refund.

Pre-orders will still receive early access to the Beta as far as I know - I'm not entirely sure how it will work with 2042 but make sure to read the fine print about re-preordering after the Beta finishes as there are times where bonus items require you to pre order within a certain timeframe before launch (that was a mouthful lol, hopefully it made sense)
