Whenever there is a situation you would want to spawn on a squadmate it's blocked.... what's the point? Even when they are definitely not in combat it's still not possible. Combined with only have 4 man squad the chances of spawning back in the fight is basically zero.
Yeah the "in combat" detection is a bit over zealous in 2042,
Also a lot more difficult selecting between multiple spawn options that are close to each other.
Sometimes it can be a pain in the * to select a spawn point and I really don't understand why a 10sec respawn timer is a thing at all, it's just annoying.
Shows the unbalance in the game atm. Getting back in the game after dying even when squadmates are alive is nearly impossible after the 10s ress timer you are still waiting for the out of combat thing.
while at the other hand revives from medics are nearly instant and nearly impossible to stop and specialists like Sundance just negate any defensive hold any team had they just zoom across.
Gameplay flow is all over the place

Oh I get it, so features demanded by the community to stop respawning into instant death are now ruining the game!
