I have not done any changing to the controls. I have default settings and yet I cannot figure out the button to cut my parachute. Some say it's hold B or press right stick. Believe me I have tried everything. I cannot figure it out. And there is nothing labeled "cut parachute" in the controller layout.... So is this even possible in this trash game on Series X?
Secondly, why is the PC "scoreboard" different than the console "scoreboard"?
I also didn´t find a key binding in the settings for it. But after some time I found out, you can cut the parachute with the key that makes you go crouch (C for me on PC). I don´t know which buttons you go crouch on console. But try it out.

I still think it's odd that it's not working for you though. I'll ask around and see if anyone else on PS5 is having this issue.
This update (3.1) fixed it for me.... After update 🏀 I could cut it using B+B about 65% of the time. Now after (3.1) it's a single B button and cuts every time.
