No unfortunately you are right @Popa2caps ,
Any faction of Battlefield soldiers do only have access to utilize weapons from their own era.
So aka BF3 soldiers in the portal can only be assigned access to the listed BF3 game weapons.
And BFBC2 soldiers can only be assigned access to the listed BFBC2 game weapons...
Please also notice that the Portal logic Rules Editor is only able to work so far for the Free-For-All and Team Deathmatch game modes. So far those two game modes appear to be the only place where we could potentially overwrite the weapon restrictions that we have in the portal that a soldier faction only have access to their own ear type of weapons.
I still need to figure out if this is truly possible or not, because straight out of the box by default it is not possible...
