There should be no nerfs applied to AA until they lock and track consistently, once that is sorted then perhaps review it but until then......

@Trokey66I love that 3/4ths of the time my rocket locks on and fires, the helicopter remains in range and doesn't pop flares...and the rocket just * off in a random direction. I don't mind getting outplayed by someone dragging the rocket into a building or hill, or if they fly out of range or pop flares but like...having it literally do nothing is lame. That does not happen in BF3/4. The rocket follows and hit you if you do nothing.
They are using the ECM jammer if the rocket gets confused and hits the ground. Which is better than flares because it also removes you from air radar which makes the fight against even jets possible. Only downside could be that the rocket still can hit you in rare occasions if the ecm runs out and the rocket is still in the air.
Easy solution to the actual problem in 2042: bring back below radar like suggested before.
Gives pilots a chance to dodge lock ons but still requires skill to fly low to the ground + being more vulnerable to non targeted attacks like a tank shot or the M5.- ElliotLH4 years agoHero+
I just spotted this on Reddit @filthy_vegans and I imagine what you saw through the SOFLAM was quite similar.
