@dimnotion Disabling ADS isn't a cheat, it's a bug that has been in the game since launch and has to do with having underbarrel weapons (or using Lis's TV missile) on a gun and spawning into a vehicle. This has somehow yet to be permanently fixed almost a year later. It apparently still happens on the portal-maps that were brought into AOW but is working correctly on the regular 2042 maps.
Ive been playing since launch, and never experienced this. So it makes me question that answer. It only happens when i am around certain PC players.

massive bug report thread for the issue. not sure if non-PC players also speak of it as I haven't paid close enough attention to platform of those that get it, but I'm pretty sure a person I play with regularly on PS5 has it happen to them too.
