@dimnotionThe problem with that and why naming and shaming on the forum is forbidden is because half the time the community clearly can’t distinguish who’s a cheater and who’s not. Half the time people report cheats because they can’t fathom how a player can have a high k/d in a match as an example. They report players on baseless assumptions and all this could be doing is slandering a genuine players name.
Hahaha, “can’t fathom”. People are disabling other players, people are not taking damage, people are seeing threw walls, people have aimbots.
To think those are skills is hilarious. Giving this an Acronym or a witty punchline, (“ naming and shaming“) Is supporting cheating.
So all i am saying is, that if EA supports this, just tell us. So real gamers, can play with real gamers elsewhere.
This is like an episode of Mythic Quest, cheaters need their own servers.
Or let everyone cheat. make everyone have aim bots and unlimited health, let me disable your shoot button when i walk up to you. 😂

@dimnotionI hate cheaters just as much as you do believe me. They ruin the experience for everyone and if found guilty they should be hardware banned.
EA in no way support cheaters. They could and maybe should have more hurdles in place to limit cheaters as much as possible but that's another discussion.
My point still stands though buddy. You cannot slander genuine players that do not cheat. They should be investigated first.
I'm not just talking about your post when I say "players can't fathom who is cheating and who is not". I'm talking about countless posts I've seen here on the forum (with their so called video evidence) that shows no evidence of a cheat whatsoever.
"People are disabling other players" could just be down to a simple bug like the current ADS bug as an example of many.
"People are not taking damage" could be server/netcode issues.
"People are seeing through walls" could be Paik or the countless other position revealing gadgets or the simple spot feature in game.
My advice would be to post a video so we can have a look without any accusation placed (not that you did accuse anyone). All you have to do is ask "what's happening in this video" and it will not be taken down for naming and shaming and we can all have a look. Here's an example of how broken season 2 is right now. That Enders video is hilarious! Especially the clip where Rao's back is facing Enders and he still kills Enders. But Enders takes damage from behind... so many bugs and desync issues in this game a year after launch.
I'm extremely worried about the next Battlefield game. 2042 still has major game breaking bugs a year after launch and I'm pretty sure the next Battlefield will use the exact same engine build as 2042.
In fact, I'm pretty sure EA's strategy with 2042 has been trying to fix bugs in 2042 in preparation for the next Battlefield game. The next Battlefield game will need to run on this same engine, so that's why EA is having DICE focus on fixing 2042 bugs.
The scary part is the bug fixes haven't been going well and there's still a bunch of game breaking bugs in the game 9 months after launch. I believe this is a strong indication of what we can expect in the next Battlefield game.
The netcode will probably still suffer massive desync issues, as shown in Ender's video with Rao. Controller inputs show signs of desync issues resulting in stuttering weapon fire, as shown in Ender's video.
Honestly, the 2042 engine upgrade has to be one of the most botched engine upgrades in the history of video games, and we're stuck with this failed engine upgrade for the next Battlefield game too.
I guess this is what happens when EA tries to save labor costs by letting all of their seasoned developers go and replacing them with college grads fresh out of school.

@OskooI_007I know right! 🤣 The desync is horrible right now and the bugs are starting to pile up again.
I tell you what grinds my gears though more than anything. DICE's priorities when it comes to fixing these bugs that have been around forever.
Take the ADS bug for example. I consider it a game breaking bug because it renders the SFAR and similar weapons unusable or the progression system still not unlocking attachments on weapons and vehicles or counting xp towards peoples progress. 10 months and these 2 are still not fixed. Instead they worked on things like, and i'll quote from the patch notes -
"Angel's Ammo Pouch is now easier to throw towards friendlies that needs ammo" or "Fixed issues with weathering effects not being consistent on Angel's Loadout Crate". or "Soldier “incidental” animations are now visible during gameplay. This for example means you’ll notice soldiers slip when running on snow or mud, sprint with high knees going through water".
They even wasted time developing a new menu but forgot to fix the equip button. It's a simple feature! A damn button that still doesn't function. 🤣
Honestly what are they doing over there at DICE because it's a shambles. All 6 of the new weapons they released in season 2 are broken in one way or another. Some of them have multiple issues. They can't even get the ammo count numbers right in the magazine. At this point its safe to say there's hardly anyone working on this game over at DICE. You can tell this by their inability to fix bugs, the lack of content and how broken said content is when it goes live and the lack or any new developed assets regarding the new map Stranded. DICE telling us it's "all hands on deck" basically means everyone's working on the BF universe instead.
