@Lancelot_du_Lac I don't truly understand how this is supposed to split the player base. And lets face it, the numbers aren't that great right now for a lot bigger reasons than a class rework system.
Frankly, I think the "split player base" argument has been overblown in order to sell us on the live service model. Such as with map content. Back when BF4 was the current game, I could find any server I wanted and plenty of them...launch maps only, DLC only, individual DLC packs...whatever I felt like playing.
Which brings us back to the biggest reason imo this game can't hold a player base...lack of server browser and community run servers.
