@Stew360 You clearly didn't read the post I don't care for the labels I care about the gadgets the fine balance of how much individual gadgets are being used... If dice were to come out with the statistic you'd probably see that 80%+ of people are using AA or M5 recoiless. Call it whatever the hell you want a subclass a sub sub class I have no nostalgia for the class system and feel no remorse for its disappearance. What I do care about is losing the fine balance of gadgets it promoted.
We dont need to give them a rigid classes system there is no real problems with the current system ..
I could agree maybe on 1 thing with you .. Grenade equipement could be reserved to certain specialist , Like Motion sensor to " Recon " type specialist and EMP to engineers , frag to everyones and incendiary to assault and support or something like that .. but the gadjet no

@Stew360 I would argue that the ability to chose any gadget is what's causing "a lack of diversity" because what we are clearly seeing Is a few specific gadgets being extremely overused and others just not being used AT ALL and thats really the root of the problem the distribution of players using the different gadgets is very unequal. if fine tuning these gadgets would lead a more equal usage and specialists sticking more to their hypothetical roles id have no problems.
