I was basically speaking on ammo boxes or load out drops
The squad leader marks the big objective icon as either an attack or defend order. The squad then goes there and supports each others actions with heals, revives, ammo, or simply watching each other's backs.
It is so easy to do without ever saying a word to one another. Especially since our squad members are a different color from the rest of the team and we can always see and spawn on them.
The lack of squad play is one hundred percent due to people refusing to use the in game tools that they are given, and is a reflection of the way that many have chosen to approach playing the series.
It is the main reason why the class system and its restrictions not being in BF2042 was not an issue for me because just like before with even just specialists I saw teamwork when I was on servers with people that wanted to play that way.
- @Skill4Reel It was better without. What the trolls don't realize is that everyone could play to their strengths while the team as a whole was working toward the same objective. There's no requirement that everyone has to be tied together. You may not have a full squad, the team is divided among 5+ capture points and however many fights. Rando's may or may not know what's going on.
What they did to the game in Feb was without a doubt the wrong move.
