Class system sucks

I've always liked the class system and am glad they reintroduced it.
I think a lot of the issues you have with ammo would be alleviated if there was a proper squad management system.
Right now if you get a dumb squad you are basically stuck unless you play roulette, and that only works if there is another open squad.
I still regularly play BF4 and the first thing I do upon entering a game is choose my squad. It makes a huge difference.
I can play a bad round of BF4 and lose badly but If im in a good squad it still feels like I had a good game and definitely a fun game.
That;s impossible with lack of squad management and platoons.
It just feels like EA really wants people to play solo even though they say the opposite. Its impossible for 6-8 of my friends to get into a game together.
I'm sure its a money thing but BF4 having private servers was really the best.
@Whitefish21 If the overwhelming majority are randos joining randos, it makes any of that management useless. There's no communication between squads so you're only responsible for how YOU play. It makes sense to let solo's be solo and leave some room for premade groups to play together.

Classes weren't going to fix anything.being able to leave a squad and pick the one you join is important. i'm sick of being stuck in squads with mouth breathers and not being able to get away from them
- @Prof3ss0r_M1k3 I use no voice chat and just leave them be. If we run into each other then fine. Didn't have much trouble before the great nerf.
No one is stopping anyone from playing solo. BF4 still has solo try-hards who get pissed if you want to squad with them.
BUT, with BF4 I can bounce around a few squads before I find one that works. And that's whether I'm playing on my platoon servers or a rando sever where I don't know anyone. I can always find a squad with a team oriented mindset. You can't do that in 2042.

i mean solo as in not in a squad. i don't want mouthbreathers spawning on me and giving away my flank or my position if i'm running soflam. i want them to have to walk their lazy butt to me if they want to be where i'm at not spawn on me and immediately go prone and start shooting
- @Prof3ss0r_M1k3 That's me too. I hate when trolls act like there's only one way to play this game. A solo player is no different than a sniper wandering off alone (nobody bats an eye to that). They can do a lot of damage and will attract less attention while moving on an objective.
