@Lady_One Yeah probably adding a fog of war in similar way the original maps were could help a lot, even if at the time it was due to a hardware limit (maybe also engine limit, not sure though).
But: considering that 2042 is basically at its end of life cycle and the next battlefield should come relatively soon, removing those maps from the rotation is the classic "five minutes job" and instead adding a (sort of) fog to reduce distance visibility requires brainstorming, implementation of the technology, internal testing, QA and then finally a patch release, most probably there are also some other steps in between that I completely ignore; so between those two options the first one is way faster and easier than the second one, maybe it's only me but I see removing those maps is the best solution overall.
Someone else in this topic proposed to convert them in only vehicles mode maps (either ground or air I don't know) and that would be great also because I think they do fit for that purpose, but again not for the classic Conquest infantry+vehicles. - GrizzGolf4 months agoSeasoned Ace
I don't mind Bulge at all. Like I have said in a previous post, I wish the 64 conquest were just actual 64 player maps. Not 128 shrunk down.
