Honestly, the aim assist is ridiculous. Xbox players kill me with just 3-5 shots, all the time. It Looks like the shots don't hit them. 90% of my kills are for xbox players. Aim Assist is very strong...

It's exactly the same with console players accusing PC players of cheating. They get a kill that literally made no sense and seem quite impossible and it's automatically, they had to be cheating when the majority of the time it's not the case.
@ZRuff46 As a PC player and forum call girl, I’ve been pretty confident I think in pointing out that the vast majority of issues are Dice related. Y’all keep reiterating the same limits over and over, and so far there has been no consensus. I never played against consoles until 2042, crossplay between consoles and PC didn’t exist until this train wreck. I was glad to have the expanded player base. I will say for one last time, that since the 2.1 update the fact is that PC players are getting melted by consoles. 2.1 introduced the new AA. Ergo, AA has been adjusted in a way that seems unfair to PC players. I’m an average casual player in my 50s. I pull about a 2 for KD, while I remember fondly playing in BFBC2 comp and winning a a league once with ATF clan. I don’t have the time to go hard anymore, and I cool with that. I don’t give a rat’s butt what my KD is and don’t think a high or low KD means a bloody thing to this conversation. The consistent theme is that PC players don’t have the multiple advantages that consoles get to compensate for the controller interface. I used to die pretty consistently to both PC and Consoles. Since 2.1, which tweaked the mouse and AA, I am 90%+ dying only to consoles. I can’t explain that. You can’t explain that. Dice are the ones who should be explaining and as they have shown us all the last 10 months, they don’t care and won’t be explaining it. Live service apparently doesn’t include comms in their own forums with their own player base. Maybe they tweeted about it. I don’t know Krag clan, but I do know AoD and someone posted about them cheating. That’s BS, I played with and against them a lot and never saw that as a thing. Occasionally the odd player cheats, even in my own ATF clan. They quickly get caught and booted. Show some proof or close your mouth disparaging good players. Between AA, snap, reduced recoil may be necessary, we don’t know that. Something changed significantly in 2.1 to the detriment of PC players and we are not happy about it. We all suffer from desync, lag, poor net code, low end Amazon servers, etc etc. Those are facts. PC and Consoles are both being incredibly poorly served by Dice and EA. Doesn’t change the other fact that since 2.1 something changed. Call it whatever you want, it’s too much.
@ATFGunr But as a player who has played with aim assist and without it, it helps a bit but not that much to give an advantage to console. You claim you are always being killed by console players, well i die way more often to PC players than i do console players. The majority of the player base consist of console players so of course you're gonna get killed by console players more than PC players. But most pc players refuse to even acknowledge what I'm saying. I'm sure there are a lot of pc players you are always call aim assist as the problem but yet they have never actually used a controller and haven't experienced how the aim assist feels on this game. Aim assist is not the issue
- @ZRuff46My post was too long, sorry. You must not have read all of it as I specifically say I don’t think it’s only aim assist. There’s two camps on this issue and neither is willing to budge. It’s too bad, as if we worked together to demand Dice fix these issues we’d do better. If you can’t find a sliver of possibility that aim assist contributes to the problem then we’re done talking. Lol we all know forum discussions change people’s opinions right? I also look at the players in game now when I log in, if it’s not roughly 50/50 PC & console I bail and try another MM. sometimes takes 2-3 but eventually I find one with majority PC or a close equal ratio.
@ATFGunr No I get what you're saying I absolutely want them to fix the all the issues pc is facing with mouse input and game performance, etc. But removing aim assist from console or even decreasing its effect would put the balance between pc and console players at a more unfair advantage than it already is . Even with aim assist active, a lot of pc players have better aim than most console players since it's a bit easier to aim. But even though you still don't think aim assist has nothing to do with this which I disagree with, I respect and appreciate the fact that you are aware that there are other issues involved with this. There's a lot of people who refuse to accept that it may be something else that is causing the issues they are experiencing.
- @ZRuff46 So far Dice has done a number of shadow “fixes” in the game. We don’t know it’s aim assist, we don’t know that it’s not aim assist. It could be the combined affect of all of the compensation factors consoles have to make controllers competitive against M&K. I want a level playing field too, if I win based on skill then cool, and if I lose too that’s ok. The overall game right now is strongly tilted to consoles and it’s going to drive players away. Dice could solve this with a review and some basic comments, but haven’t shown an inclination to do so. Sad.
@ATFGunr It will be hard for them to really find a solution to this anyways because either way, it will make the other side angry. They will most likely lean towards the larger player base which would be console. Of course that's not fair to PC players but they are stuck between a rock and a hard place so I can't blame them for wanting to keep their biggest player base
- @ZRuff46 Oh I blame them. They wouldn’t have this game without PC. I know money talks and * walks, a complete lack of loyalty to a segment of their players will resound. Don’t forget, if they’re willing to screw over PC, it’s not a big leap to where consoles are next. Dice better step up. Maybe we’ll talk to the steamers and enlist their help as they’re the only ones Dice listens to.
