At least make walls stop the sensors, so it only posts if it's in line of sight or thrown inside a building. I'm so tired of trying to hold an objective after finding a good spot to hide. Then someone wallhacks or throws a stupid ball.
For me one of the worst parts of BF4 was the constant spotting mostly by shooting with unsuppressed weapons.
BF2042 upped the spotting to new extreme levels of stupidity, audio spot, drone spot, turret spot, grenade spot...
We are back to playing the mini-map and shooting "doritoes" like BF4, which is skill-less and just feels hollow somehow.
But we will probably get a specialist which avoids spotting altogether at some point, again a fail of game-design.
- 4 years ago@cso7777 Me and most of my friends only played BF4 on Hardcore. To this day you can usually find full Hardcore servers for BF4 any time of day. Can’t say the same for “normal” Conquest or any other game mode.

@PsychopskiI only played HC in BF3 and did also in BF4 when it launched.
I got back on the BF4-bandwagon after 'burning out' in BFV and almost only played normal then (almost always with a suppressor). I actually didn't like HC as much anymore...The problem in BF2042 is that using a suppressor does 'nothing' most of the time (other than lowering your damage), because of drones, proxy mines etc etc. They should get spotting at least back to BF1 levels (which more than BFV but still less than BF4).
Dice could start by removing audio spot and only having one gadget spotting, remove proxy mines and let Casper spot with his drone (and perhaps even lower the remote distance of the drone).
