@UP_LordPlumber to play Devil's advocate it's not free since it's not a F2P game; we paid full price for 2042 and "Live Service" games are far more heavily monetized than Battlefield games were under the Premium system so DICE theoretically should have more money to offer players even more content than we received under the Premium system. Instead we get far less content under BF5's and BF2042's Live Services - in 2042's case 4 maps per year instead of 4 maps per quarter, and maps are the life blood of an FPS.
