Controller aiming is absolutely terrible in this game

When I play CoD I can snap between multiple targets without missing, while holding down the trigger, on high sensitivity too. When I play BF2042, I can't so much as track a moving target who isn't ev...

@ragnarokfps don't be crazy. According to these forums we're all using a built in aimbot!

It's taken me a while but I've gotten used to the controls, had to tweak them quite a bit though.

That’s what I’m saying. They’re showing videos of a guys controller snapping onto a target like he’s playing GTAV. Mine won’t do that. As a matter of fact, mine doesn’t snap at all and the default value for that is 100.

@SleepyWeasel68 I'm just wondering are you using magnified sights? I noticed the only time the snap has worked is with SMG using iron sites and it's only worked a half dozen times in the hundreds of hours I've played.

If use any type of magnified sights even as low as a 2x snap aim has never worked. On the only video of the snap aim working the guy was using iron sites.

  @xXHappy_PuppyXx I was going to go into solo and re-set my controls. Everyone is talking aim bot so I played with the inputs to see what they were talking about.

    @SleepyWeasel68 That's just PC players pissed off that Aim Assit is no longer a detriment to consoles ablity to aim. Before 1.2 aim assit actually made it so you needed more stick input not less making it damn near impossible to track a horizontal moving target. So now they use the excuse every time a console player kills them that it must be the aim assit. Oddly many of those same players cried about aim assit when aim assit was actually hindering console players.

  Nope. The console “Aim Bot”, doesn’t work with playing around with settings or sights.

@SleepyWeasel68 I have the aim assist snap setting set to 0. I'll be damned if I let an aimbot setting play the game for me, I'm here to improve my own skill in a PvP environment. Dice should've never put that aim snap setting in the game. It'd be one thing for a pve game, but in pvp? Not good

  @ragnarokfps You can set it to 100 and it’s still not going to do what everyone thinks it’s doing.
