All those changes are a step in the right direction. Still, immersion needs more that just mud and barbed wire. We need destroyed buildings, vehicles, darker colors, etc...
Also, I think you should reevaluate deleting some existing zones and instead relocate them, or maybe do variations using some parts of the map and then others (like al marj Encampment in BFV). We are already kinda bored of the same 7 maps, so deleting zones is actually making maps with even less variety. Also, at least the zone your planning to remove in Renewal, is good for CQC so maybe should be used for TDM, Rush, etc
