Core Map Feedback: Dynamic Sector Layouts

@Straatford87 @T0TALfps @PartWeIsh

I want to discuss an idea I have called Dynamic Sector Layouts.

Below are my visuals.

My concepts are not finalized, nor do they have to be exactly laid out like this. There could be more sectors, or less, more flags, or less. I am simply trying to give an example of how each map could have a dynamic set of sector layouts, randomly, when it loads.

Some of the layouts could cater to people that want more infantry focused fights, while others would open things up and allow for more vehicles. Obviously, the number of spawnable vehicles would have to be tweaked for each layout. Some of the layouts are set up to be more linear, while others more circular or square. Some are setup to be more intense and closer fights between points, others more spread out. Remember, these are just the sectors, not actual flag zones.

In my opinion, what is wrong with the maps (outside of lack of cover and additional world objects, color, grit) is that the maps are simply too big. The "Battlefield" needs to be reduced by 20-40%, keeping the same number (128) of players.

My thought is to use the vast size of them and dynamically move sector layouts around, to allow people to see and experience different parts of the maps. For example, when have you ever been in a firefight under the tunnel near the Dome? Yet, if you've ever been down there you can see it would be an extremely fun area to play in. How about the plaza near the city? You rarely see anyone there, but it has multiple levels, cover, and would be a very fun area to fight over.

I tried to imagine an area, in each design, that would cater to what people like. Don't like rooftops? You dont have to go to them. Don't like the close quarters of the Dome? You can engage in sectors that are a bit more open, but not too open.

The point of my post isn't to simply state this is exactly how things should look, but what DICE could do with the maps they've already designed and created.

We'll be lucky to see 1-2 more maps in like the next 6 months. By doing something this they could quadruple or quintuple the number of potential map layouts in the game, keeping it interesting and fresh.

I want to reiterate, its not about what I've designed below, but just the concept of multiple dynamically changing sectors, each time the map loads. Sectors, flags, bounds could all be moved. More areas added, others removed.

Thoughts? Concerns? Ideas?
