I feel like there should be full or better protection for when you are waiting to cool down the gun by pressing down some button completely covering the center and sides and let go of the button when you are ready to fire. Also there should be some sort of indication that shows when it is back to zero recoil/spread so you know when you can shoot accurately again.
And another thing that is a little more out there is there should be option to switch ammo to anti-armor that has limited rounds but replenishes like vehicle ammo does.

It's pretty deadly up close and a great deterrent at mid range; I think some of y'all just aren't using him properly lol.
That said, yes, I agree his shield either needs a slight health buff or the melon popper hole has gotta go - He was pretty much nerfed right out of the gate compared to other specialists like Boris
Think he's a bit obsolete tbh and was definitely an ill thought out specialist.
Would given him a Mortar instead of the Gatling.
I was able to use him quite effectively earlier by quick deploying the gun to take out an enemy, picking it up, then quick deploying again. But it still takes too long to kill certain players whilst at the same time you're taking very powerful fire from long range.
