Is there a possibility that the company will allow a version of the game in which the current generation can play with players from the previous generation? Even if it limits the number of players and map

@Chinchilablack you can get any of the 3 Editions of BF2042 also in a Bundle, which means the bundle includes the Old-gen and New-gen version of the game (PlayStation & Xbox)
That means you can install both versions on your New-gen console, and if you start the Old-gen version there you can play with friend that play on the Old-gen console with their limitation of 64 players.
If you start the New-gen version, you play as usual with 128 players.

Going to echo what several other people have said and not been answered. Bought the Cross Gen Bundle and the PS4 version of the game does not show in my PS4's library. Would be nice to know what's going on with that considering Pre-Load is...today.
