Crossplay In-game toggle request for Xbox series X

This has to be changed ASAP. Not only because it's no fun to be an easy target for m&b players at a distance, but I'm pretty sure that crossplay with PC is the cause of some bugs while playing (yesterday was very nice with only console players, today with PC players I already had multiple crash on XsX. I wonder if the problem is not the chat box...).

We shouldn 't be forced to turn off completely crossplay on a system level. Nobody is going to do that, because they have other crossplay games that work well and mostly because the option is hidden quite deep in the xbox setup, and that's why you cant find an xbox only server with enough people to start a match.

The on/off toggle was perfectly working during the beta and I don't see any reason why it's different for the final realease !

It's effectively a non-working, unplayable, broken game for anyone on console who wants to play on a level playing field (which of course most would). 

It's incredible that EA would release it with something so fundamental broken. Even more incredible that they'd sit back and not give any kind of update to the customers who've paid for the game on when this will be resolved. Never mind an apology.

I'll be looking for a refund. Like a lot of people, I've been through situations in the past (BF4 was a shocking mess) where they've taken peoples money and given them a completely broken or substandard product in return and I've put up with it. But at this point, I'm just not as big a fan of the franchise as I was in the past to put up with the contempt they show their customers.

Yeah I may have spoken too soon.  Crossplay on and off was definitely an option in the beta and was useable.

When I loaded up the game this morning and went to the options screen sure enough there was the message about having to turn off crossplay in the XBox settings (as shown on YouTube) rather than disabling it in the game itself.

Not sure what happened between the beta and the final version but it's just utter nonsense.  Unbelievable t that they just hid this behind the curtain, along with no scoreboard - we got crickets there), and it makes you wonder what else they're hiding.

I wonder if all of this has to do with the fact that you can play games on Windows 10, 11, etc. when you own an XBox?  That's a big feature that Microsoft has that Sony doesn't.  You could own the game on XBox I believe and then, for example, if you were traveling you could fire the game up on your computer instead from whereever you are.

Personally I only want to play console vs console and have no desire tp play against PC.  And now having to disable in the settings menu means it's universal.  So you can't play against PC players but if I have friends on PS5 then I can't play with them either.
