Crossplay is arguably a failure and will never be able to satify both player base
On one end you have console players who want stronger aim assist because their input device is just not suited for an fps
On the other you have PC players who hates console players because aim assist is just a soft aimbot
There is no making one side happy without hindering the other
Just needs better options
groups
- PC
- Xbox
- PS
controls
- controllers only
- m/k only
- mixed
now this might be complex difficult to implement but I think it boils down to giving people choice.
Crossplay is fine, and the only way to populate servers in some regions.
Restricting console players to only use controllers, when both new console natively support keyboard and mouse, is the mistake.
Give consolists keyboard and mouse.

Console players want console only crossplay. They've been asking for it the game was released.
A functional/franchise standard of aim assist is expected whether or not we are playing vs PC.
just make cross play input based.
the biggest issue to overcome is Dice coding. they've shown consistently they don't know how to code.
I wouldn't even have crossplay ON if I could find a game with enough players for PS5. And I am sure others wouldn't either for their respective gaming system.

it's the only way to populate server because the game is arguably dead
It wouldn't be an issue if DICE didn't release the worst BF of all times
And I guess I need to be more specific
I'm talking about PC-console crossplay
Console to console crossplay isn't a problem since everyone is on an even playing field
console only cross play is the way to go. pc players can do pc things and xbox/ps players can do console things
Why get rid of crossplay in future games?? Madness I say MADNESS!!!! Whatever would we do with these forums, since half of the threads are about crossplay hatred? Since so much is in turmoil due to Dice riding the roller coaster of fixes which are directed by the winds of dissention we need to have crossplay enabled so that we have something to hate on while waiting for the game to get fixed.
Just needs an input option and jobs done.
