I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING:
It's Battlefield, PC and Console are too different for that.
But I feel like cross-play is becoming more and more of the norm, and an OPTIONAL cross-play feature would be great. Half of my friends are on console, and I know we would all love to play together.
I don't know how feasible this is, but if it at all is I beg for it to be in the game.
- 5 years ago@FreddyBensson being a console player myself, I have and still participate in competitive Scrims. Sometimes you will come across that one player who will use a MnK (mouse and keyboard) and they can be very hard to counter.
What would be a great feature is to have Cross-play for PlayStation and Xbox only!
But that is just my own opinion and thought - Anonymous5 years ago
@FreddyBensson
I would happily support mouse & keyboard on consoles, but not PC's in general connected through cross-play with consoles.I actively game on both platforms. PC's just have too many variables at play to be connected to consoles. It's a risk assessment, and in my opinion, PCs have too many risks vs rewards.
At the very least, PC cross-play needs to be optional for console players, also without limitations to console only servers.
- LJBattlefield5 years agoSeasoned Vanguard@FreddyBensson The game doesn't have any crossplay at all, Sony charges devs/publishers royalties for crossplay, why should EA pay? Just buy a copy for each system you want to play on.
If your platform is dead the game will fill the match with bots.
