@RealB-EW Yes, I know the quote from Mr. McArthur before the release of BF V back in the end of 2018 and at that time I already thought “ok did he played a BF game by himself”?
If there were a really good rock paper scissor balance it should look like this: Plane > Chopper > Tank > Infantry
But we Have this:
Infantry > Infantry
Infantry > Chopper
Infantry > Plane
Tank > Infantry
Tank > Chopper
Tank > Plane
Chopper > Infantry
Chopper > Tank
Chopper > Plane
Plane > Chopper
Plane > Tank
Plane > Infantry
So, everybody can kill everything….
The balance had always a huge issue in the Franchise and the Problems getting worse since BF3.
Why are there dominating Choppers in BF3/BF4? Because Rock-Paper-Scissor is not working in the way it should?
Why can you kill a Chopper with a Tank or Even a Plane? Because it is fun but not Rock Paper Scissor.
Why could you lock an Enemy Team into their Main Base? Because of ofn the good game mechanics and great map design ?
Why people are only playing around 3 guns for each class? Because of the great balance? (This fits for B3/BF4 over to BF1 and BF V.)
And guess what an Opinion is a personal view of things^^ and also, I don’t deny that there are issues and bugs 😉 But I have another perception about classes, and “legacy features”.
Oh, I’m in every thread? Mate this is a little bit pathetic😉 Or have you facts that I didn’t know? Till than it is just an exaggerated statement and assumption 😉
I think you only recognise me because I don’t have the same opinion as you or some other people hanging around here 😉
And I think I am able to see things from a different point of view but that does not mean that I have to be of the same opinion. Maybe bring me facts that convince me that we need the old system back.
And I don’t talk about bugs and performance these are things that dice is already working on.
Also, if you look back it took DICE several moth to bring a patch related to the older releases, now they have already done much more in less the time.
Be nice, play fair and see you on the battlefield
