Seems like this post was made by someone who has never played a beta before...... Mate I spent an hour in the beta just grappling things, then I went for a drive around the map. Saying the game doesn't play like battlefield after the beta is a bit premature, I mean I don't think I ever tried to take an objective. Also classes were disabled in the beta possibly for testing reasons ??
And also a lot has to change for 128 player games to work, need to consider that before writing the game off.
@ShevermiNClasses we’re not disabled in beta. They are no longer part of the game as before. The specialists kinda loosely map to earlier classes, but weapon load out is supposed to be freed from class restrictions. That’s my understanding anyways..
I don’t care much about specialists or not. I like new abilities to play with and I like the free loadout instead of strict classes.
@mesterKGYep I'm looking forward to running support and carrying a rocket launcher if the scenario requires it.
I get to keep using my preferred gun to take on inf while having the freedom to attack a tank from range.
Seems pretty cool to me.
Hehe, that would mean unlimited rockets then 👿
But you actually had to choose between ammo box and rocket launcher in the Beta. 😉

There are some things decided very early on in development. The foundation of this game (BF2042) Will not change in a month. Things like the movement and art design are baked in. These things would've been change by now if they weren't by design. I think Dice knew too much had been changed. That why they have the Portal Mode.
They should delay. This was worst beta I’ve ever played. When you have to clear your all you settings for firing with mouse became Se the game starts up with your gun firing constantly with out touching your mouse or a button there are serious issues.
I have a top of the line computer I spent 6k making. It’s not computer.
Loosing your load out constantly and having to load everything on your gun over and over. Graphic s not great either.
Im a little tired of paying for something and getting something halfway done.
Dice seems to think so little of its consumers that they give us crap at beginning with a promise to fix later.
There are some neat things in this battlefield 2042. Get it right than put it out.
Have another beta. I’m am worried that many people may call it quits if they do it to us again.
Many if the people I used to play with stopped playing after the last one came out.
I am not usually so critical but I almost canceled my pre purchase. If the game starts up with bugs like the beta which makes it a pain in you the * to play I will likely ask for refund and I’ve been playing battlefield for 20 years .
Ah. A nice way to disregard anything I said? I have played almost all Beta’s (Battelfield) since BF4.
And I stick by every word I said, it’s not the bugs for me! It’s the whole game mechanics and the direction they went. BF4 was pathetic at launch, so many bugs I don’t even know, but it was still a Battlefield game! It looked, played and felt like it. Squads, classes, weapons, all felt right.
But whatever, maybe you’re on your high horse and feel like disregarding any opinion that is is opposite to yours. That’s okay 🙂
