I would like to see a 2 minute delay in vehicle spawns for fair play. It is very common for players to use planes as a taxi to capture all flags before the opposing team has even loaded the map. Anyone who knows Battlefield knows that 90% of the time it will be a farm round. A delay in vehicle spawns would lead to more fair rounds.

Given what happened in BFV, with bombers wiping out entire teams before rounds had started, I hope there is a delay, or at least no planes spawn until the countdown ends.

I support the delay. Fair play. It will force players to actually be the "boots on the ground" rather than spamming planes/vehicles. You know.. no battle was ever won with just planes. You got to have them troopers. On another note, I also do support a limited amount of vehicles/planes spawn in each round. There can't be unlimited amount of spawns (no matter the delay). It is frustrating to play with the limited amount - I know. I hate it too. If both (delay & limited) are implemented - the game will se an exponential amount of actual gun fights./salute.

@x--Fusi--x I somewhat agree. Maybe certain vehicles should be delayed like the tanks and Apache helicopters. Transport vehicles should be available at staft6 of game however.

Vehicle should spawn as soon you start the round, but not before the round will start, this isn't fair and doesn't make fun at all.

@x--Fusi--x To be fair I understand fully your concern also I am fully against your suggestion because "no one" has played the game yet. Just wait for the "open beta" before you suggest this type of Idea. If a "Vehicle delay" is needed, the devs will "implement" it.

@x--Fusi--x It depends, majority will be playing on 64 servers, while the 128 will be way bigger. Maybe on 64 matches they can have at a 1 min but 2 min is far stretched especially how fast vehicles in the game get blown to high water. 128 players now probably not since there is a huge player bump.

@x--Fusi--x Given that you have grapple hook guy, that should cut down at least somewhat on people using jets for taxi to towers.

My experiences on BF1 are that very often the round is over before it even started. Before everyone has loaded the map, a team has captured 4 of 6 or 5 of 6 flags with the help of vehicles. Unfortunately, it often stays that way for the whole round.

@ElliotLH That was really awful in BFV and BF1 had the same problem as well (to some extent).

BF4 was actually ok, because most maps had lots of transport vehicles for infantry and planes/choppers had to take off at base.

Spawning inside flying planes (like BF1/BFV) has too many drawbacks.

Having a "delayed" spawn for planes/vehicles would not feel "right" for vehicle players, and the BF4 way of doing things would probably be the best solution.

@ElliotLH Yeah if they added bombers to 2042 there should be a big delay, the pavelow they showed on the trailer looks sick af tho

@cso7777 Yep, never could bring myself to do it as it felt really cheap. It was good when they changed it.

I unfortunately dislike the BF4 system and prefer the BF1/V way, but that's just me, and lots of people prefer the older style and see it as being fairer overall. If BF2042 is closer to BF3/4 when it comes to vehicle spawning then that's all good.

@PacNbowls It was sweet. Can't wait for them to tell us more about the vehicles and weapons.
