But this level of detail only acts as icing on the cake, if the cake itself (the gameplay) is poor, the icing won’t save it. If Delta Force can provide us with a good tasting cake nobody will notice the icing is missing and it might prove a true challenger to BF.

TBF, the Delta Force developer team/publisher is now under Tencent, so it isn't like they are short on cash (although, who knows what their actual budget is).

I will definitely try it. And sure there will be cheaters a lot but I can give it a try.
Since EA/DICE decided to just destroy the great game that was BF (and after 15+ years of playing it), I find myself with the difficult task of finding another game to replace it.

It's sad for me, but I feel ripped off with this BF2042 wich instead of bring the good things they had in every of the previuos versions, it just bring something completely different and finally EA/DICE give us this scribble of game. 😠

I guess anything will be better than this poor and ruined version of the BF franchise. ☹️

It's worth to try and easy to do of course. I just want the gunplay to feel similar to battlefield. The reason I cannot play Warzone for example is first of all the pay to win aspect so you have to pay to get some weapons you cannot achieve them by playing, and also the long time to kill in Warzone. Seems like we're shooting each other in a room forever to kill each other. Usually I lose.  Also the weapons sound like my mom cooking in the kitchen,  just a turn off in Warzone.  Oh! Another thing: i hate the idea of putting plates in the chest too.  If the above mentioned things will be present in this new game I might not play it.

Ehhh saw some video. I'm a little more about giving it a try now. Kinda looks like 2042 but it seems like it has some more BF parts than 2042. Still looks like limited weapons though....and not a lot of variety 

The new date for the PC Alpha has recently been announced - 6th August.

Super excited for the launch of this game. I'm currently playing the alpha and its awesome! It's just like how Battlefield use to be, but with updated graphics. EA/Dice should be worried.

I've tried it, 

looks like cheap battlefield counterfeit, they even copied starting screen lol.

Animations look poor (2006 level)

Map design look sci-fiish and poorly detailed

Vehicles feel like moving on rails

Specialists look like 80x bolywood movies

My answer is no (for now)
