You missed "As such, in an upcoming update we’ll be increasing the available RPG, Recoilless and all other era-equivalents by 1."
I'm still not happy that the Crawford perk isn't removed and that further +1 given to boris as well, and crawford and boris' deployables made better (e.g. let crawford's turret be placed when angled, and angle itself up higher?!)
I think the RPG didn't need a +1, and the M5 needed a +2 but this is probably fine.
I think the changes are pretty good. 2042 has extremely fast infantry movement while ground vehicles are much slower to accelerate or change direction than in BF4, nevermind McKay and Sundance, so the C4/mines nerf is pretty warranted.
The wildcat didn't need to have the 40mm. The reduction to the "range of the main cannon" doesn't quite make a lot of sense to me. The 30mm already has huge spread, and past ~400m it is doing chip damage to most things minus jets that face you with their top/bottom. It also vanishes past ~700m. Are they reducing its time to live? More damage falloff? What about the 35mm, which probably lives for ~2000m?
I think Casper's drone was kinda fine; if they want it to not affect vehicles, ok, I agree with that due to how small and risk-free it is, however it should be able to destroy spawn beacons and APSes, and it should be able to detonate enemy mines/C5 from range like the MAV could.
I'm not seeing "reintroduced the inability to fire lockons within air vehicles as it was in BF4". Or just anything about the pondhawk really. It can eat a stinger and live, it takes low damage from the NTW-50 or any other weapon in general, it has thermal smoke AND there's a chance the rocket will just spin around it and miss it because of how small it is.
I also have a feeling the flare cooldown increase will be minor and not much will change. A passive/instant lockon launcher is needed IMO.
