My visits to Reddit usually end with me logging out hating this community and convinced that social media was a mistake.
They said in s4, s4 has not ended.
To be fair, they’ve already complained about all the other issues the game had/has already.
Sooo yeah, this is just another one and for some a very valid complaint just like you think yours are.

back when i played FFXI i remember a dev being asked why they don't do what the community wants he said something to the effect (i'm paraphrasing here it's been many years) "the surest way to kill a game is to do what the players ask for instead of what is right for the game"
@PsubondWell it seems like that's all the 2042 devs have done is do what the players have asked for.

If they would listen to the community, we would at least have basic features from every previous Battlefield. As @X-Sunslayer-X said, there are way more important things to apologise for...
All you had to say was Reddit and that was enough for me to stay far away. Citing Reddit is like telling people to go to Youtube to watch an influencer. If I want a convo, I'll hit up the discord channel. yes, there is still the usual crap, but not any where near as bad as Reddit.
