I'm scared of what the next game might look like....
@UP_HawxxeyeMate, my suggestion is that a complete overhaul or modding of the game shall not be a part of a standard ranking system but rather shall stay hooked up to a certain server. What's the point of coming to the server where You drop one person on a hit and get 1000x XP for that action? Later on, even official statistics can't prove if a given person stats padded or bluntly cheated. Why should anyone let low effort servers to be plugged/included into the official ranking system with unlocks? If someone would like to play extreme presets then ok... Dice should make them for free without an official ranking system and unlock path. This is how EA/Dice might convince people to come to BF. EA talks about life service but in reality, many things are behind a massive paywall and the company is inept to release a free to play game mode like battle royale or at least enable portal for free to everyone but without all unlocks and official ranking systems... Decision makers at EA/DICE do not understand the player base completely and aim at things that dismantle core elements of gameplay in Conquest/Rush game modes.
It's ironic that the people who make the game are the ones that don't understand what the players want. Arrogance on another level.
But, here's the thing. If you want to make money in a game and have people purchase it, then try not to whizz everyone off by blaming the customer instead of looking inwards and admitting your own fault in this ridiculous situation.
All this "Live Service" stuff is just a white elephant. How about this, we paid full price for half of a normal game. No Campaign mode, It was buggy as heck from the start and has only just been able to be playable from a fairly basic level of enjoyment because of the lack-lustre content, or rather lack of.
Not even half of the amount of maps we should have, sound is glitchy / bugged, you are constantly messing about with the physics of the game and altering / nerfing the heck out of things that pretty much makes them pointless
And to top it off, when you introduce "Patches" to fix things you usually end up messing something else at the same time, then have to fix that too . . . . . .
This is beyond incompetence now, and yet you want us to hand over all our money and be happy with what we get?
