How in the world is Voice Chat already not in the game? Why does DICE need to have a discussion about about it.
Calling these things "legacy features" instead of just features that should have been in the game by default is ridiculous.
Completely agree. Either DICE is filled with Junior Devs who are working on their first multiplayer game, or EA has total control on what they do there, but calling core features of the game (of any game for that matter) "legacy features" is just fuc*ing stupid.
They think anyone will swallow their cr*p? Just be honest and tell players that you are either missing the skills or resources to implement core features in to this game, or admit that you just don't care. Don't go pretending they are suddenly "legacy features."
I'm waiting for all these childlike mistakes to be fixed before even considering buying BF2042, but at the moment it seems I will just stick with other games (I mean come on, the Steam reviews speak for the game perfectly).

BF4 was a cluster f**k when first released and took nearly a year to get to a reasonably good game to play. But I stuck with it and ended up loving it because I ran with a group that would often fill a server and being able to voice chat made a big difference to my level of enjoyment.
This game with such large numbers over large maps has no cohesion and direction is lost without voice.
