I have the samt thoughts... Have been a BF fan from the beginning but maybe I am to old for this direction Bf now is taking.
There is a Early access game called World war 3 that seems intresting.. 12$ at steam...
I find this just so embarrassing, so shameful. Been a fan for so long, this really hurts..
The specialists where a bad Idea for this franchise, this just reinforces that.
So embarrassed, I wish Battlefield didn't go this way.. It just not right.. ☹️
Its like you been in this wonderful relationship for 20 odd years, then suddenly they go Crazy and lose the plot and they rip your heat out leave you empty...
This whole game was just a Bad idea from the start... I feel so sad and embarrassed. ☹️

It's devastating as a long term fan who has always paid for premium battlepackz, editions, pre orders - anything I could I've bought it on every BF instalment made to date - no exceptions.
For EA to basically say that's not enough and stick the middle finger up to us and all of the core buying fanbase after all this time, with a pathetic effort to ditch us for the kids playing WZ and Fortnite, is genuinely insulting.
I hope with all my heart this cynical move by EA (and if you read Glassdoor etc you can see this is absolutely an EA issue) blows up in their greedy faces for trying to literally sell out the Battlefield name.
They could have quite easily sold this crap as any other name instead of ruining and deliberately alienating one of their their longest standing, LONGEST PAYING communities and franchises.
Beyond rude, completely disgraceful behaviour and I hope it really damages them commercially, they fully deserve it.

It just keeps getting more ridiculous, it's almost a parody. I just saw this in my new feed:
This clown is talking about creating a "Battlefield Connected Universe" when they can't even get the most basic gameplay mechanics right.
It's such a meaningless, empty collection of corporate drivel. It's completely devoid of any kind of independent creativity or innovation. Just look around at what makes money, see the MCU in the film industry and sit in a meeting going "hey, we need our own universe" while everyone round the table nods and claps at the brilliant corporate strategy.
These people suck the good out of everything they touch. It's worth pointing out that at no point in all this farce has anyone at EA or DICE uttered anything even close to an apology.
Don't want to come across ranty (I've always gone against a lot of the outrage against previous games) but this is so cynical and almost comical.
