The 3.1 update literally addresses many of the things you claim were not addressed. I agree that aim assist overall is nearly non-existent on the game. The aim assist is very weak in Battlefield 2042 no matter what platform you play on. That's an issue with the game itself. PC players don't need aim assist because the mouse is a crutch as it is.

And it seems they made it so that you'd be forced to stay in crossplay in order to get a game. The player base may have shrunken so much that they are afraid of losing the small amount of PC players they are making money off of if PS5 and XBOX SeriesX/S owners are given the option to turn off crossplay with PC and only game with other console owners.
I may be dead wrong and that's just my opinion; but it seems like a sneaky move to keep you in crossplay with PC players. I can remember turning off crossplay earlier when the game released and actually finding matches faster than I did with crossplay on.
The crossplay toggle never worked on the series x/s until 2 months later with a patch. It was intentionally disabled by Dice for release as the toggle worked for beta. Even after the patch series x/s non crossplay wouldnt start that took another month for a patch.
It also didn't help that crossplay was defualt on. By the time the crossplay toggle and server issues were addressed the population plummeted. In large part do to forced crossplay with PC players.
As far as Aim assit it was never fixed on series x/s. The one patch to fix aim assit consistancy appeared to only effect old gen consoles.
Hell aim assit doesnt even work in solo mode on series x.
We have reported this since beta and Dice does nothing.
