@Ga-Knomboe_Boy how impatient are you? The majority of the team has been back in office for less than a week. They did a ton of great work and fixes before holiday to mitigate the worst issues.
I'm glad they appear to be taking time to reassess the future direction of the game. Decisions like this aren't made in a few days. You might not have this big update/apology/whatever you want for another few weeks.

@SpudBug You’re right in that the dev team has been away and it’s unlikely any updates are coming. However, it’s not unreasonable to expect some comments or to hear from the devs. “We hear you and are working on the next update”… any kind of acknowledgment that the game is still causing performance issues for many and / or gameplay issues (still looking for server browser, scoreboard and VOIP there devs). Their message could lack substance but just show that they’re aware and working on it. Communication is cheap.

It seems that EA/DICE are in lockdown mode, I'm not saying that is the case, but it seems like it.
The silence is awkward and perhaps telling that there's an Elephant in the room.
Even Activision has been forthcoming to customers in recognising issues with COD.
Not a squeak from DICE.
Even the Battlefield subreddit has been given a cease and desist final notice.
Perhaps we're just too brutal?
- 4 years ago@FlatChat Reddit. lol. It just makes Dice look like the victim now. Why are they going to Reddit in the first place? Its a pool of idiotic people just like the steam reviews. Im all for critic and i had started my own topic a few weeks back and im just as unhappy with 2042 like most - but there is no need to threaten or be crazy about it. its just a VIDEO GAME. Not a cure for cancer. Jesus.
All Dice has to do look over this forum and if the so called "Community managers" would be doing their jobs, we wouldn't be here. The problem is turning a blind eye on the problem makes people more frustrated. Not even acknowledge that this game isn't what they advertised and just man up and admit it. Theres no way around it. Only blaming it on Reddit is easy and its lame. So no, we're not too brutal, the critic stands. As a dev i would ignore childish remarks anyways. That shouldn't take away from the main issue at hand.... - 4 years ago
@FlatChatOdds are they are zip lip until they have to reveal their earnings/losses to investors. They want to limit the damage when the inevitable lawsuits show up. It's the patented CDPR bob & weave.
