True but mostly referring to the suppression in BF3, in BF1 it was mostly confusing and imo not necessary cuz the old weapons fired like old weapons plus low ammo capacities
In BF3 suppression didn’t lead to camping and when it did the higher TTD allowed to get cover and figure a way to kill the camper. BFV and BF2042 people don’t even need to camp in order to produce and seemingly “unfair” engagement.
I agree a well balanced recoil, spread, accuracy system is superior and leaning towards to slow pace gameplay but I have little hope of ever seeing that happen again
For me Battlefield 3 was the last Battlefield you actual battled other players, everything after is just battling the game itself.
@doubleomeBF3's "High" TTD was due to an awfully low server tickrate. It was something like 10Hz or 15Hz compared to 45Hz in 2042 and 60Hz+ in BF4/5
So half of your shots just didn't register properly.
BF3 has exact same guns, mostly the exact same damage numbers. 3-4 shots kill up close, 5-7 shots at a distance.

@UP_LordPlumberBut we begged Dice for better tickrate but it didn’t improve anything imo made it worse or something else made it worse.
Bf3 had 60hz servers at one point i am pretty sure didnt it?2042 experience is more consistent compared to bf3 for sure but consistently bad isn’t something they should strife for lol
