@fixatelive Hi there. You have a excellent point, but the real issue is that crossplay has only been half implemented. In theory it’s great that players from all platforms can play together, but online games should be filtered on input type like in COD, so that controller players do not get matched with K/M players. Additionally, audio chat support needs to be added; I have a buddy who is on PS5 whilst I am on XBSX and we cannot chat during play which is not fun. Again, Call of Duty’s crossplay implementation is much better in this respect, and BF2042 should be using this as a yardstick for an optimised online experience.
@redbus36 Crossplay works better with COD because it is a different type of gameplay and aim assist in COD is a lot stronger. Like you said, crossplay has only been half implemented, that is the problem, so while they working on a solution it should be disabled until it works, with option to match xbox and playstation together, that will be great, and then also an option to allow pc player. So option to play with console only and another option to matchmake with all types (like current). The current state of crossplay is causing console players to stop playing BF2042.
