@CyberDymeIts totally true that Halo infinite Free to play also has hurt BF 2042 player count and exposure .. The game is somewhat " stable " on many regards and is way more stable than BF4 at launch and even more stable than BF4 8 months after launch so there is that ..
If you personally have an agenda of course you will say EA are lying but he was not in the textes you use to call them liars .., There was a lots of positive feedback about the game and the hate narative only grew with peoples with poor system or poor adaptation skills who didnt get a carbon copy of the battlefield they saw as gold standard ...
Most players who buy a game play it for the first months or so and then moove on in other games ..unless there is a strong " live service " support like Fortnite or Apex or destiny even GTA online that keep players interested into the game ... So yeah
