Discord Integration

Hello  Dear  Fellas!

I have only one unanswered question for almost a year regarding BF2042!

Why  there  is no verified integration with BF2042 in Discord ?!?

I am using PC -> Origin Launcher -> BF2042 license game.

P.S.: Honestly i don't like visibility of manually added BF2042 in Discord. I have only seen full verified BF2042 players  in Discord but it is only works with EA Play access.

    SOLVED.

    Install "EA  Desktop" application. Via app options menu link Discord account.

    P.S.: You will be migrated from Origin app to the new one (Ea Desktop)

    Don't forget to delete manually added BF2042 in Discord registered games tab.

    Enjoy.

    It's working just fine. Here's a few things to check:

    1. Overlay is in fact on in settings.

    2. You are running Discord as admin. If not, run it as admin.

    3. Once you are doing the two above, open BF and then go into Discord, "Registered Games". Under that, look for BF2042 and turn the overlay on. For some dumb reason, it's off by default. 

    You should be good after that...see mine on the SS below...

    All right! 

    Overlay is working well.

    But what about status, for example, on what map i am playing and etc???

    And why should i need to add BF2042 in registered games manually? The game in this case of scenario is not verified automatically by Discord like Fortnite or others

    I'm not sure what else to say. It showed up in mine just fine once I ran admin mode. I ran admin first AND THEN launched 2042. It showed up. I think as long as it's working, you should be good, I wouldn't worry too much about why after that....

    @Selviona It seems to me that this feature should work if Discord and DICE make support for it. For example, in League of Legends, for some time there was no support for information about the game (and lobby) in the Discord client, but over time everything appeared. Noticed there is no Origin account linking feature? Maybe EA just didn't give them the money. Or the game does not have the necessary APIs in the public domain to look at which map and for whom you are playing, because such information is pulled from it.

    @pecmeserp Hello! I agree with you opinion. BF2042 is more than almost 1 year can't launch status-integration with Discord App. The sadness true. Many thanks for your reply.

    The only thing i know and saw that Origin (only EA play subscription) and Discord has some kind of agreement. Each player launching BF2042 via EA Play access can see their status for BF2042 game in Discord. It works only this way. If you have purchased BF2042 (buy&play option) you haven't such kind of feature.
