@Spinner1981The class structure is outdated and needs to go away. When I play portal and the older BF games it feels so restrictive. If they bring back the class structure I am pretty sure it will lose more players as the ones that liked the freedom will not like the change and the ones that did want the class structure won't come back as it won't be enough.
- 4 years ago@CantGetRight It wont lose more players, as said earlier the classes is part of what makes Battlefield, its not dated and plenty of team objective games still use classes. Only BRs and the likes uses so much freedom in a loadout.
Only reason the classes werent in in the first place is because this started out as a BR game.
If this was a BF game from scratch, 1. we wouldnt have specialists, 2. there would be classes with specific gadgets and weapons, like every BF game before it.- 4 years ago@Spinner1981 I guarantee the ones that liked the freedom will leave the game if they introduce a class structure and limit your choices. As I know I will. The ones that do want it will come back just to try it and then leave as the content just isn't there.

@CantGetRighti mean each to their own but numbers speak the truth. Its a BF game, classes is and should be an integral part of Battlefield

My biggest issue with Specialists AFTER the fact they erased the traditional classes, is that it turned Battlefield into "The Clone Wars"
I don't want to see Boris and Boris fighting Boris and Boris, each one representing a different country that doesn't match the flag on their uniform.

@CantGetRightBattlefield had a bigger playerbase in every previous game and BFV and 1 still have more players than this game. Get rid of specialists because people don't want them, that's the message here and it's loud and clear. You might like specialists but this isn't Call of Duty, people who actually like Battlefield? We don't want it.

@CantGetRight Losing more players? Have you check the player count for this game? Battlefield players are playing Battlefield for its Class System and other things they don't play Battlefield as and expect it as a Call of Duty. This is Battlefield not Call of Duty. FYI this change will bring more players back than the current system "Bad Specialist System" that we have. What makes Battlefield unique from the other shooters are the Class System (not the Specialist), Destruction, Large Player Count and other more.
- 4 years ago@UnKnOwn_1628042 I think you are missing my point as well. See above.

Correct, I've yet to see anyone explain how the class system helps the game. It's always, "that's how it was". I think the classes with specialists will work out poorly.
- 4 years ago@Colonel_Kilgore1 Yeah. At this point just put the equipment someone carries on their back or belt so people can see with their eyes what they can do.
All people.need to do is ask for ammo or a medic or repairs and people able to should come out of the woodwork and do the job.
I think nor being able to repair and use a rocket or aa at thr same time blows so we could use maybe some additional layer or allocation of gadgets we can call class specializations but at this point, heavy restrictions might be counterproductive.

Yeah si olddest system than this Battlefield without classes is incredible succèss. Wowwww only 5000 players max on steam
- 4 years ago@CantGetRight I disagree. Id bring more ‚old‘ players back, than ‚new, ones would leave!
- OneSavior264 years agoRising Rookie@CantGetRight I like these changes they are good the only thing I was worried about was them restricting weapons but they aren't
