Seeing as BFV supported both… I will confidently say, “Yes!”
EA DICE would be crazy not to, right?
As for NVIDIA Reflex, that is a good question. Battlefield games overall have a great track record of supporting the latest and greatest visual and gameplay technologies. So I would be surprised if they didn’t support it.
Agreed.
While on the hardware side, I also wonder about cpu usage and core count importance to the game.
What will be the sweet spot of core count and the correlation to GPU performance.
EA! DICE!!
haha give us some hardware info lovin'. 🥳

It will run on 4 cores as only about 45% of PC players have better than that. (Steam Hardware Survey May 2021)
I can't see them just giving up on 55% of the market. They'll cater to 85% of the market that way and truthfully the other 15% who don't even have a reasonably modern i5 or equivalent probably weren't the target market anyway.
It will probably scale well up to 8 cores/16 threads as that's what the consoles use and that is the upper bound for mainstream desktop CPUs at the moment.
I'm sure the developers would love to ditch support for those slower machines but I'm even more sure the shareholders would have something to say about that.
- @raffifasaro BFV had dlss and raytracing, adding to this, the gameplay trailer seemed to show reflections. So, yes 2042 will very likely have those options.
As for Nvidia Reflex, Nvidia is currently pushing their Reflex tech into a fairly large number of new and old games (recently for example, Rainbow 6 siege released 6 years ago will be getting Nvidia Reflex very soon), So it seems likely that it would be an available option. - VIP-AHMAD-0074 years agoSeasoned Acehey @raffifasaro since they are showing us the engine power and we had those options in BFV.. surely we will have it in BF2042 as well.
Official answer: YES. Battlefield 2042 support for DLSS, Raytracing, and Reflex
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lj9LLUUuKqg- @No1StingerUserUK No chance in hell it will run on just 4 cores, even bf1 struggled like crazy with just 4 cores.
I don't get why people care so much about this. I mean, in a competitive shooter that stuff gets turned off fast for me anyway. Unless you have a beast rig you're taking a performance hit.
