DMR & Shotgun Class Proficiency?

Question

Where is the DMR Class proficiencies? I propose that all classes get DMR and Shotgun proficiencies except the Assualt Class to balance game play and add varity.

Currently it seems on paper that the Assualt Class is way OP if compared to the other classes.

I thought shotgun perk is on engineer class. Aren't they getting utility weapon proficiency? That includes shotguns

@KyberStrikeRecon could be expanded to have a DMR perk (maybe more accurate or less recoil).Support could end up getting a shotgun perk like faster reload.

It is a bit odd that DMRs aren't mentioned, but I suppose that might just be because the other weapon specialities are deemed enough.

As already mentioned though, Utility weapons cover the shotguns.
