BF2042 had a rocky start to say the least. I personally think if bots had not been in the game at the start what few people were playing the game would have been able to.But this isn’t the only reason bots would be good for the franchise. It allows for game preservation, because if BF4, BF1, and BFV had AI you could keep playing the game even if there is only 2 servers running all the DLC and one of the servers is 64/64 with 10 people in the queue and the other is 4/64 and is never going to fill up. Absolutely, they should be in the game.Nothing worse than hanging around in a lobby waiting to play a game you purchased but can't because there aren't enough players to start the round.Stupidity at it's finest.We should also be able to play off-line modes too.

@ElliotLHYes I agree, just the same way most of the Official Portal Weekly Experiences currently operate.Think how much time we would save in AOW lobbies with a one player start.I have been calling for this to happen for a while now, the sooner the better, more time playing less time waiting to play I say.

@ElliotLHAbsolutely, I am all for getting the games started.There is nothing worse than waiting in a lobby trying to achieve the minimum player count watching as players leave out of frustration / boredom.Once a round is started they can fill up pretty quickly and as you rightly say some players never get a game in their regions, that really should not be happening in a BF title in 2023.

I would like to point out that today, I got revived a lot more by the bots than other players.That alone places a lot of value for the bots

Bots are useful for both practice, unlocks and for filling up gaps in the teamI hope they will stay and that they will be come more like humans (in the good things)

Absolutely, they should be in the game.
Nothing worse than hanging around in a lobby waiting to play a game you purchased but can't because there aren't enough players to start the round.
Stupidity at it's finest.
We should also be able to play off-line modes too.

@xeliw42651 The ai soldiers should not be in all out warfare modes. They are designed for a PvPvE mode called Hazard Zone, and that is where they belong.
My impression is, that new game play mechanics are only tested against ai, which is, why it always feels like new mechanics/weapons/gadgets aren't tested at all.

It usually not fun to play matches with ai, because they don't play the fine objective.

@xeliw42651 Yes, I like the game having the bots and I play against them solo quite often.

I'd actually like to be able to start a match with just a single player and AI, then have the AI players retired as real ones join.

I will have to say no only after the last few games I have played tonight.
1) Yes AI skills have been sharpened some what but they are suitable for conquest 100% and not break through.
2) Playing BT with bots is painful more so if you only have a few human players you get on the point and the AI who are on the attackers side just get farmed because they always stick together. Same goes for defence as well they usually sit right on the capture point so you can farm them or if 1/2 attackers jump on you dont last long.
For all intensive purposes im just talking about the redacted map BUT if they sharpen AI skills then by all means.
