This is a spawn + map design issue more than a tank issue.
The same thing would happen with an enemy aircraft waiting behind your spawn.Lobby for safe spawn bases, outside of the enemy line of sight and reach
just go back to BF4 vehicle spawns (you gotta walk your * to the vehicle and get in it)
