Does cross progression work between Battlefield 2042 Series X/S and Xbox 1 versi

I have a series S and some friends have not updated consoles yet. I have to play the Xbox 1 version of the game to play with them. Will all progress i make cross between these games? Like registered to the EA account or something?

    @ballz1101 Xbox X here with both versions loaded. Progression works across Xbox X and Xbox One versions. Was playing on PS4, and my progress followed me ( I had to link my gamer tags in EA account)

    @ballz1101 so from what I've gathered is yes your EA account will have cross progression on all platforms, and as far as the Xbox consoles go, those are separated into two different games, so you will have to earn the same achievement twice. I run series x version and like you, I also run Xbox one version with friends

    ......same here between the PS5 and PS4 copies of the game. Everything carries over between the two for me. Its all tied to your EA account.
