Well I know plenty of you are all in on taking legal action against EA over a 'broken' game so maybe you can all use your legal expertise to understand that legally EA have to support the game for at least 12 months because they pre-sold a 12 month battlepass.
Sorry to burst your doom and gloom scenarios but the game will be supported with patches and content for 12 months minimum.

@Tank2042Man I tend to agree as most games have the same launch bs.
As for legal I doubt there is enough evidence to warrant a settlement. Unless the powers that be decide to be nice.
The problem I see with that is all the volatile hate that has been spewed in all this.
The game will go on imo

- 4 years ago@k1u73 I dont know what you are talking about. There have been extremely civil topics of suggestions for the developer. Stop putting hate and critic into the same bag. Its not the same thing. The game is not ok as is and they have to endure critic when people paying for a product. Dont get me started on reddit. Its a loud abyss anyways. Why would any dev go there and look for feedback?
The problem is, Dice doesn't talk about it. And its not cool when a developer (like CD project Red) obviously releases a game too early or too incomplete and pretends all is good. That's what makes people angry. And rightly so. So please spare me the "volatile hate" crap.- Micawber7294 years agoSeasoned Veteran
@BuzzfunkBad enough to have reddit shut it down. Then there is Steam and of course here.
Now it’s plastered every where and in print.
Not devs that anyone looking for a refund it’s lawyers and judges they need concern for.
But that’s my opinion and like you or any else has a right to state it.
That said I will spare you no quarter…- 4 years ago@k1u73 You didnt get my point. Reddit been bad for anything. Movies, music or video games. Sure people love to ride the hate train.
But 2042 ain't perfect so there is validity to the facts that its missing a * ton of content. And you know what? Had the developer waited to release this or made the beta a month long and listend to some valid feedback, we wouldn't be here. So personally, while i do not agree with toxicity in general, i do agree that Dice have to step it up and stop playing victim here.
