scream and shout long enough and dice nerf anything that scratches them and then buffs them to make sure then rinse repeat next game!
I agree with you, but for whatever reason it seems that helicopter pilots scream and shout the most.
Heli pilots, if you want to survive you have to run for cover once you pop your flares. Just like everyone else in the game, once you are being shot at, if the threat is not immediately identifiable and killable, you have to find cover.
Also using the AA is not completely “skilless”, to effectively use AA you have to find a spot that is reasonably close to the action, with a good view sky, but not so open that you get your melon popped by a sniper (or run over by a hovercraft, knifed/shot by infantry, blown up by a tank, or killed by anything else on the ground you are not looking at). Then you have to acquire a lock, maybe shoot immediately, maybe wait for the flares, reacquire lock (all the while any little thing will break the lock) and shoot again and maybe again.
To call anything in this game a “skill” is kind of a joke, it’s all just thumb twiddling (on console). Pretty much nobody will ever make a penny or attract a mate or become famous by acquiring this “skill”.
