Doubts about std, Gold or Ultimate edition

I would buy the standard edition of bf2042 right now but i noticed in the Gold or Ultimate edition talk about 4 New specialists. What does It mean? Should i buy the Gold edition to get them?

    @Downb0ysNothing has been confirmed about the means to acquire new specialists. EA DICE have said they will be available for free to all players…

    I suspect that they will have to be unlocked through gameplay first before being able to be used… unless you buy the Gold or Ultimate Editions that include the Year One Pass.

    Are specialists not just skins ?. It seems like we are being asked to pay gold for skins (Battlepasses + specialists) without knowing what we are getting with the Gold and Ultimate edition.

    So Gold or Ultimate gets them in advance while others have to unlock them or what ?

    Presumably they get them without having to unlock them while standard edition has to earn them like a traditional unlock.
