DOZER is very weak and should be buffed

He is the coolest looking Specialist imo, but that's actually all about it. One of the things that makes him this is the fact that you can't never see his face. Gives him that extra mystery factor.

But compared to all other Specialist his traits are actually very weak.

I can bet that he is the least playable character in this game, but to make it different I would suggest one of the following tweaks:

- make him not receive any damage from guns when the shield is deployed even while running, but he should not be as fast as the other Specialist (maybe extend his shiled all the way to the ground). As it stands now he can be actually be hit in the feet, until he crouches, and can be killed very fast actually. He can avoid this by crouching but then it makes him almost non of use since he moves then very slow.

- make the shield reflect bullets more often, more precise and dealing more damage to the opponent by doing so. So the enemy will think twice before emptying the whole magazine into him and praying it hits the feet.

- I can't remeber if it's one or two hits with the shield to kill an enemy, if it's two it definitely needs to be one hit.

UPDATE: Before 0.4 if you had armor the shield needed two hits to kill you. They did a stealth patch on this one in 0.4 so yeah now it needs one hit and it's good.

I would like to see one, a combination or all of those suggestions implemented for him so he is on par with the other Specialist.

    @Kona_uk honestly I could be happier with a non-specialist that can have 2 gadget slots so I can combine ammo and launcher

    His trait is that he has an impenetrable ballistic shield that basically makes him invincible from the front when deployed. If that is not what you want, choose another specialist.

    Again, then play another specialist.

    - make him not receive any damage from guns when the shield is deployed (he doesn't) even while running, (so completely invincible so you can run up on someone and kill them with a shield melee with no fear of being killed? As it stands, he can take direct fire from a tank with no damage, but you want him to be able to move with this trait as well?) but he should not be as fast as the other Specialist (maybe extend his shiled all the way to the ground). As it stands now he can be actually be hit in the feet, until he crouches, and can be killed very fast actually.(As it should be. Again, you want him to be unable to be killed whenever his shield is used?) He can avoid this by crouching but then it makes him almost non of use since he moves then very slow. (so he is unable to be killed, but moves slow. ???? your line 2: but he should not be as fast as the other Specialist)

(So let me get this straight - You want him to have jedi type reflection of the bullets fired at him, while being fully shielded, AND not having his mobility impaired while doing all this, right?)

    It is 1 hit (You would think you would know this since you are writing the post) and it is actually the best melee kill in the game, as it is bigger than other melee weapons and you don't ever have any stupid time wasting animations while doing it.

    @UP_Hawxxeye YES!! Most of my specialist grinding is rooted in the desire to get a skin unlock to hide the face.
    Now If I can just mute the cringe 1-liners....
  • @AnobixWhy ever take Angel over Falk? Falk can revive, has unlimited health packs for themselves and teammates, then can choose the ammo pack. That ammo pack can resupply ammo and armour as Angel can only resupply ammo. Falk can do everything Angel can do but better.

    The supply crate is useless as it takes way to long to come in. And it can only be called in while outside.

  • Dozer suffer from the same issue as other Specialists - bad T1 requirement. Change from melee kills to damage absorbed (projectiles reflected) and you can play the role and not shoot yourself in a foot by trying to complete T1.

    @HARLEMnycityAre you serious ? You sound like a angel Main with that statement.

    The ability to revive players to 90 % effectivenes and the fact that the revived person gets a armorplate for free is allready incredibly strong.

    But what’s more strong is that he can swich his entire gadget arsenal on the whim, IN ADDITION to having unlimited Ammo for AT or AA rockets & Gadgets.

    Angel is still very, very strong, but not a God anymore in Gunfights.

    Seriously, angel and worst specialist by far in the same sentence is almost trolling, this is not an opinion, it’s downright stupid.

    spaming armor plates after every hit made him extremely tanky,  the fact that he can also uses medpens made him a rolling infantry tank with absolutely no weakness in gunfights.

    now you cant plow through enemy lines anymore and have to be careful with your health like any other specialist who does not run the armorplate gadget.

    Without being over the top, most games had like an angel percent of 50 to 70 %, there was literally no reason to play anything else if you wanted to play infantry.

    @HARLEMnycityAnother false statement.

    Falcks healing darts needs you to be not getting shot for 1 seconds, then the healing effect kicks in.

    Angel, no matter what, you could spam plates on yourself without interrupting the animation by getting hit.

    Falcks selfheal animation interrupts as soon as you get hit by something, that’s why most players shoot the healing darts on the ground to walk over but as I mentioned it above, the healing effect of those darts only starts if you are not getting hit by something for atleast 1 second.

    This means Heal & Run is out of the option unlike Angel who just spamed his plates on himself, no matter the circumstances.

    Furthermore an Ammocrate does NOT ressuply all Gadget Ammo, only AA/AT rockets.

    So no, an Falck cannot do everything better than an angel becouse it is not possible, either by Gameplaymechanic or possibility.

    also for mentioning that the supplycrate is useless becouse it takes to long…

    Personaly i think the ability to call in a little obstacle that could potentially cover you and Tank a few rounds from infantry guns is not a bad thing on those flat, open Maps.

    would be hell of OP if the supply crate instantly appears, making Irish shield pointless since the supply crate has a much,much lower cooldown than irish‘ deployable shields.

    Shoot the dark beneath you. Works faster than selfheal animation.
