Dozer/Irish Ballistic Shields
Okay, so why am I frequently getting shot through my shields? Countless times I watched enemies pull/deploy these shields and the moment they appear, they're safe. Might get shots at Dozer's feet to kill as they run, but if they crouch, forget it. I, on the other hand, am getting shot in the head through my shield while crouched, from the front. One player did this twice in a row. Shield clearly deployed, crouched, facing them, shoots me in the head. Irish shield as well, shot in the head through the shield. Someone tells me the upper third doesn't protect, so I test it. Takes all shots. Not even AP penetrates it. Speaking of the Irish shield, killed by rocket impacts to it countless times. Shoot at an enemy right behind the shield, might take their armour, but won't kill them. I'm killed outright.
These discrepancies feel painfully one-sided and its making the game feel like a chore to play. Feels like I play hard mode and they play easy mode. Multiple times I'm being shot through my shield when it is clearly deployed. Then again, I'm also being shot and killed while I'm being revived (not after I've been revived, where I'm unable to rocket off to cover like enemy players do and I'm lying their for a split second before I can move), I mean I'm being revived into a death, because I'm shot while I'm downed.
