@MADMAC50K I've only used it a tiny bit so far but I think it's pretty decent so far as well. Feels like it's a glass cannon and I think that's fine.
@ElliotLH I'm not sure what pilots expect, but we definitely don't need another 87-0 air vehicle. Hopefully it's not designed that way, so if pilots are looking for it to be another NB killing machine, hopefully they'll look elsewhere and DICE won't pander to their pleas....
- @MADMAC50K Me too. I think it's in a good place as looks like it can be devastating but fragile. I've seen some screenshots from Twitter where a dev implied that they saw it in a similar way, so they might keep it as is for the time being.
- @ElliotLH I think it's interesting that despite being an unmanned drone it still counts as a player death when it crashes/gets blown up.
@Anobix Yep, it sure is. Also, how it's under Vehicles -> Personal in "Collections" rather than the drone tab. I was kind of hoping it'd be like Casper using his drone or the EOD bot, where you could be killed on the ground while using it, but I think it's a really misnomer and it's not a drone at all.
Or I might just be having spreadsheet madness and waffling.
I caved in and grinded a bit more since the Draugr seems like such a cool concept... I guess the "glass cannon" thing Elliot mentioned was the fact that the JDAMs deal 65 damage to tanks and 85 to wildcats.
I was right to suspect that the JDAMs would be overpowered.
I really wish DICE would stop making half the vehicle weapons underpowered and half overpowered...
STAFF shells are useless, HE shells can splash people through large rocks. Jet AA rockets are useless, jet rocket pods can deal with almost everything in the game. AH anti-vehicle rockets are better against infantry than anti-personnel ones. The NNEMP is just a JDAM that deals half the damage and has a small EMP effect.
